The following information will help answer any queries you may have relating to The Harbour Heights.

Car Parking
- 44 parking spaces available on site.
Bedroom Information
- The room type stated within your confirmation letter expresses your stated preference of room. Where possible, we will always endeavour to allocate the room described but there may be circumstances when we will not be able to do so.
- We guarantee rooms to be ready for check-in from 2pm.
- All bedrooms within the hotel are en-suite with spa bath, power shower and electrically heated mirror, minibar (filled upon request), courtesy tray, digital flatscreen HD TVs, pay movies, internet access and broadband connection.
Harbar Bistro
- The Harbar Bistro serves both lunch (table d’hôte) and dinner (a la carte) menus.
- Advanced booking is strongly recommended as the Bistro is very popular with guests and local residents alike.
- Guests are advised that the dinner, accommodation and breakfast rate includes a dining allowance of £25.00 per person per night. All additional charges will be added to the bill which must be settled on departure.
- If you have any specific dietary requirements please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. A Vegetarian option is always available in the menu.
- Please note we operate a dress code in the Restaurant and reserve the right to refuse service to anyone unsuitably dressed (see below).
Dressing for Dinner
- We operate a dress code and reserve the right to refuse service to any persons unsuitably dressed. For example, attire such as untailored shorts, trainers and leisure suits, etc, will not be acceptable in the restaurant areas at dinner.
- To ensure that we maintain a mutually enjoyable atmosphere in the restaurant we would request that, if casual clothes are worn, they are of smart appearance.

Room Service
- A full hot and cold room service menu is available from 7am to 10:30pm with a limited room service menu thereafter.
- Room service offers a full English breakfast or Continental breakfast from 7.30am Monday to Friday or 8am Saturday and Sunday. Continental breakfast may be available at an earlier time if pre-arranged on check-in. Please note a room service charge of £5.00 will be applied irrespective of the terms of your booking for Room Service requests.
Leisure Information
- The Harbour Heights does not have on site leisure facilities. Hotel guests are entitled to use the leisure facilities of any of the other hotels within the FJB hotel group (please check availability before turning up to avoid disappointment).
Children's Information
- Children’s rates are based on accommodation and breakfast only.
- Children are welcome to dine in the Harbar Bistro choosing their meals from either the children’s menu or the main lunch menu. Where meals are selected from the main lunch menu, dishes are charged at half the listed price for children of up to 14 years of age.
- Evening meals may also be taken in the Harbar Bistro where a children’s menu is available for children up to 11yrs of age. If children prefer to dine from the evening a la carte menu, no discount is available.
- Complimentary entertainment is organised during state school holidays at The Sandbanks and The Chine. There are currently no plans to provide children’s activities at The Harbour Heights.
- Details of local accredited companies which provide babysitting services are available from reception. It is recommended that arrangements are made in advance. A baby listening facility is also available for guest use within the hotel.

Smoking
- Smoking is permitted on the terraces only.
Checking Out
- Check out time is 11am unless agreed with hotel reception on your day of departure. When available, late check out will be charged at £10 per room, per hour after the 11a.m. standard checkout time. Late check out is not available during peak periods.
- When required, night porters are able to check out guests between the hours of 11pm to 7am.
Business Facilities
- The hotel also offers conference and function facilities. The Canford Suite caters for parties of up to 50 guests or Hytes function room for parties of up to 120 guests. We will make every effort to make you aware when a function is taking place if we believe that it will affect your stay.
- The business facilities that we can offer give our business clients ideal surroundings and opportunities for meetings and training.

Internet Access
- The Harbour Heights offers complimentary wireless internet connection for residents in the Bistro and Lounge areas. Please contact reception for the access code.

Wedding Facilities
- The Harbour Heights is licensed for civil weddings and has facilities for wedding parties up to 120.
- Wedding packages including room hire, toastmaster, champagne breakfasts and much more can be tailored to your requirements. Simply contact our wedding co-ordinator at The Harbour Heights direct for more information.
Functions
- As noted above, the hotel caters for functions of various different types throughout the year. During these times there will be an increased amount of activity throughout the hotel and some bedrooms may be affected by function noise. If you feel this may affect the enjoyment of your stay please contact us and we will be able to confirm if a function is due to take place during your time with us and the areas of the hotel that will be affected.
Additional Information
- Please make the hotel or reservations aware if you are expecting visitors to the hotel, including babysitters. All visitors will need to sign in at reception due to health and safety.
